Father Roy is a gifted speaker and an in-demand preacher around the world. He earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium. Since 2008, he has also been a Professor of Philosophy at Christ University in Bangalore, India. He has been an indomitable presence at Shalom Media, serving as Spiritual Director for almost a decade.

Benny Punnathara was instrumental in launching the first Indian Christian television channel—Shalom TV. In 2012, Pope Benedict XVI bestowed the title ‘Chevalier’ to Punnathara for his outstanding contributions to the Catholic Church.
